This abstract landscape painting, Marshlands, was painted with oils and cold wax and the varied texture gives it a visual ‘tactile’ quality. This piece also has small pieces of tape left in from earlier stages and several layers that play a part as the paint is scrape back dried paint or pull still wet paint out to create an interplay between the layers of an application.
